Itinerary
We will leave San Sebastian early in the morning and after a scenic drive of 1,5h approx. we will get to Rioja Valley, a land where the people live by and for wine. We will go to one winebar, at small boutique family owned winery, to taste the best wines of the winery. All this in a friendly, personalized and unhurried manner. After the tasting we will visit a winery where you will learn how to taste wines which will fascinate your palate. From the vineyard to the labelling of the bottles; becoming familiar with the secrets of the entire process will enable you to understand why Rioja wines enjoy the prestige they do.
For lunchtime, we will head to a local restaurant to savour a tasting menu, a three-course meal including wine of course!After lunch, we will visit the town of, a small picturesque town that is somewhat unreal, as from a fairy tale, with its narrow cobbled streets, with its ancient walls and with that medieval touch of distinction that fascinates travelers so much. Before coming back we will take you to get external views and photo opportunities of the unique architecture wineries as Marques del Riscal & Ysios. For other wineries option or choices, please do not hesitate to ask, all our tours are flexible and could be adapted to your needs.
